Chapter Awards:
During the 2007 Division 1 Convention, the Chapter brought home the Chapter of the Year, Can-Do, Newsletter and Website Awards again this year. The Auxiliary was awarded the Chapter of the Year, Can-Do, Newsletter and Humanitarian Awards. For more than 15 years the members of both the parent chapter and auxiliary have been outstanding in their commitment to volunteer their time at several non-profit agencies, the VA Hospital, Veteran’s Home while raising the funds which were instrumental in the building of Betty’s Dream (Rainbow Apartments for the handicapped) and allow us to continue to support many worthwhile programs

We were also very proud to see Al Caldwell receive the Division 1 Batchelder Award. Last year, the Award was presented to Peggy Caldwell.  This is a testament to the ceaseless work that Al and Peggy do for AFSA, the Division and especially our Chapter. Congratulations Al, this award was well deserved!
